The Shadows Saga was never meant to end with Silver.
Shadows and First Blood and Shadows of Redemption were actually written as one story originally. Somewhere along the way, I realized there was way too much happening for one book, so I split Silver’s story into two.
Going forward, my plan is to keep expanding the world and tell the stories hiding behind the characters, places, and secrets you’ve already met.
I originally pictured the Shadows Saga as a series of interconnected books, with different stories exploring different parts of the world. One will take us back into the past and uncover the history behind the bookstore and the families connected to it. Another will dig much deeper into the Order and how everything really began. And yes, Sammi and Jay have a story waiting for them too.
As for which one comes next?
I haven’t decided yet.
The next book is still in the very early planning stages, so it will be a little while before we return to the Shadows. Right now I’m figuring out which story needs to be told first and how all the pieces will eventually fit together.
Silver’s story opened the door.

The Shadows Saga is planned as a collection of connected stories exploring different characters, places, generations, and pieces of the supernatural world introduced in the first two books.
🩸 Shadows and First Blood
Where it all begins. Silver’s story, New York, vampires, werewolves, witches, hunters, the bookstore, and the first glimpse of the Order.
🌿 Shadows of Redemption
The second half of Silver’s original story. Ireland, healing, ancient magic, new dangers, and the consequences of everything that came before.
📚 The Bookstore Story
A journey into the past to uncover the history behind the bookstore, the families connected to it, and secrets that existed long before Silver ever walked through its doors.
👁️ The Order Story
A deeper look into the Order itself. Its beginnings, the people behind it, and how it became the organization operating within the supernatural world.
🐺 Sammi & Jay’s Story
Because there was no way those two were going to behave themselves and quietly disappear after Silver’s story. This one will step away from Silver and finally let Sammi and Jay take over the Shadows for a while.
🔎 The Next Generation
This one is still mostly an idea scribbled in the dark. The plan is to jump forward in time and follow Silver’s child as an adult, running a supernatural investigation agency and dealing with the strange, dangerous, and unexplained things that come through the door.
Exactly what that story will become? I have absolutely no idea yet.
Right now, I haven’t decided which story comes after Shadows of Redemption. The next book is still in the planning stages, the order could change, and some of these ideas will probably grow considerably before they become actual books.
There are stories from the past still waiting to be uncovered, characters whose stories aren’t finished, and eventually, a whole new generation waiting in the Shadows.
